In order for a class to count towards your certification you must watch the full length of the class without skipping forward. You must watch a minimum of 3 classes in each quarter - watching 12 classes in just the first quarter will not complete the full year's requirements.

If you miss a quarter of your certification you are definitely able to make it up! All you need to do is complete the 3 class requirement of the quarter you are currently in, and any additional classes you watch will be applied to your previous incomplete quarters.
